There is a lot of 'jargon' used in the mortgage industry. We have tried to provide you with a comprehensive explanation of all the terminology that you may come across during the mortgage process. APRC is the commonly used acronym for the Annual Percentage Rate of Charge. This is the standard way (as laid down by the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and the Financial Conduct Authority) of working out the true interest rate.
