Before I met Katrina, my experiences with therapy had been damaging. After what occurred, I stopped seeing anyone, and it wasnt until 18 months later that I had my first session with Katrina. In the very first one, even though we were meeting for the first time; she made me feel safe, and I could already tell she cared. She listened attentively and not once did it feel like an intense patient and client scenario; it was like a discussion between friends. Katrina has played a vital role in my recovery, and I am lucky because I can also call her a friend.
