Specialist Residential Care for Adults with Learning Disabilities & Mental Health Needs
At HRS Care, we are dedicated to providing specialist residential care for adults aged 18+ with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and complex needs. Our mission is to create a nurturing environment where individuals can thrive through personalized support, promoting independence while respecting cultural and personal choices. With homes in Hastings Lodge and Hastings Cottage, our approach is rooted in Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, ensuring physiological, safety, and belonging needs are met to foster self-fulfillment. Our team of 33 dedicated staff, none of whom are agency workers, undergo rigorous training, regular supervisions, and DBS checks to maintain the highest care standards. We emphasize psychological well-being by addressing the root causes of behaviours rather than symptoms, guided by our belief that kindness, care, and love drive meaningful change.Residents enjoy freshly prepared meals tailored to dietary needs, daily activities both in-home and community-based, and opportunities for volunteer work to enhance independence. As a regulated service under the Care Quality Commission (CQC), we adhere to all legislative requirements and maintain transparency in safeguarding and data protection under GDPR. Our leadership team, including registered mental health nurse Raj Sooriah and social work professional Esther Stowe, brings decades of combined experience in mental health and social care. We prioritize creating a home-like atmosphere where residents feel safe, valued, and empowered to achieve their goals step by step. Through consistent care, respect, and communication, we aim to be a trusted partner in supporting individuals toward a balanced, fulfilling life within our community.
