20 minutes before arrival the narrow road is completely dark. No lights or cats eyes and a long drive around windy mountain roads.
Stayed in "Kite 2" cottage. Hot water tank empties when bath is only a quarter full!
Kite 1 cottage (downstairs) complained of our walking sounding like "thunder". And when they used the cold tap we either had no water or freezing water from hot tap.

It is a beautiful place, we spent four days there last week me and 12 of my friends, we stayed at (King Fisher, Heron 2 and kite 1) cottages, everything was fine except the mobile phone signal and WiFi was totally out of service, we can't make any phone calls or messages for four days

Really beautiful spot, very quiet and peaceful. Stayed in Kite2 which was ideal for us very well equipped. Made full use of lovely swimming pool and games room. Would definitely like to go again when the weather is better

I stayed in kite 1. It was great and very cozy. It's an amazing way to disconnect from the world and relax. There's no signal at all which I found good, but they have wifi at the reception if you need to. The only bad thing is that instead of being a double bed, it was two singles and me and my partner struggled with that.

Fantastic find this place. Immaculately clean, the cottages are very spacious and well equipped there is a games room on site along with a tennis court, pitch and out golf and a swimming pool which is fantastic, It is situated in a lovely valley where you hear no traffic at all about a mile or so off a main road, views are fantastic with a nice lake to walk around and there looks plenty of paths to walk up the hills nearby also. Will definitely be returning, very friendly staff aswell. Solid 5 stars.
