Delightful, well run small site of half a dozen lodges right next to Ropley Station on the Watercress preserved railway. When not enjoying the railway ideal spot to explore north Hampshire.

We camped in our own tent. Quite evenings. Early morning call from trains, but that is what comes of camping next to steam trains.

Lovely lodges overlooking the Watercress Heritage Railway. The best Lodge is Alresford, it overlooks the railway crossing perfectly.

Peaceful stay in a lovely location. If you love steam, getting away from the stresses of every day life then this location is ideal for you. The lodges are set beside Ropley station on the Watercress line. They are light and airy, clean and well appointed. The owner is very pleasant and helpful. Its like stepping back in time to the age of steam.

Lovely campsite. Very chilled out place, not too busy. Toilets could be cleaner though hence the four stars.

Spent a lovely morning with our two grandchildren. Rode on the miniature railway, saw the farm animals, christmas displays, enjoyed a hot sandwich, drink and the gift stalls. And spoke to Santa and his elf in his own railway carriage. All safe, well organised with friendly and helpful staff.
