Lovely dining experience especially after post lockdown. ATe outside on a chilly evening and was offered a complimentary shot of vodka just to "warm us up" food was delicious and the staff friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend a visit if nearby.

We loved our stay. The team - led by the owner personally - are cheerful, efficient and obliging. The Captain Oates room is spacious and comfortable ... and we enjoyed the jacuzzi. Dinner was a treat too, with a menu for all tastes and a well-judged wine list. Ideal spot for a quiet rural get-away break and excellent value for money.
