We booked 2 nights for a family reunion after 2 years of lockdowns / restrictions
We booked here specifically for the excellent restaurant which we have been to before . When we arrived we were told that the restaurant would be closed on both nights. There was no update on the website about this
We are leaving a day early
Very disappointing

Excellent Hotel. Great service off Mary the waitress, looked after us very well, including our little dog. The food was served well, on time and delicious. My Father in law stayed overnight and was looked after very well by the staff. We would have no hesitation in recommending every aspect of this Hotel.

We had booked at the Hilton, but they hadn't reserved me a room with a walk- in-shower as I had asked, so we moved to The Arden. I failed to give them 5 stars only because we had an issue with the hot water and the light above the mirror in our bathroom. The place was beaitiful, our bedroom also was lovely, but the Staff, including the night porter, was fantastic. I would give them 20 stars! They were charming, respectful and helpful both in reception and in the restaurant. We only breakfasted there, but the food was excellent and again, excellent Staff. Well done!

I would have gave 5 stars but the drinks are extremely high priced. Otherwise this hotel is amazing close to the theatre easy walking distance to all other shops and brilliant staff. We loved our stay and are looking to book again in the near future.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in, all the staff were friendly and accommodating, the restaurant was well maintained and the food was excellent, everything cooked fresh each time, the location was perfect, right across the road from Shakespeare museum and theatre, Avon river views if lucky to get a room with one but still just across the way, town centre right around the corner, couldnt recommend it enough.
