We deliver up to 15 miles from the restaurant with minimum spends from £55 (3 miles) to £110 (10 miles).

Outstanding food, service and setting. A week before Christmas, extremely busy and yet the staff could not have been any better. Very friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they were welcoming and happy. The food was the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. Totally melt in your mouth beef and sensational dim sum. Thank you for the perfect 80th birthday for my Dad.

Chung Ying has been the culinary centre-piece of Birmingham's China Town for as long as I can remember. It look's awesome from the high street. Pundits rate it as one of Birmingham City Centre's best restaurants. Is it any good then? If there is hype, I have high expectations. When I was seated in the outdoor portion of the restaurant I began reading the menu. This consisted of 4 sheets of A4 paper with a long list of popular British Chinese menu options. I felt underwhelmed. Service was at a gentle pace, humble. Food was served piping hot, cutlery was arranged in the classic British Chinese

+ heaters placed appropriately around every table - you wont feel cold.

+ Incredibly good - theres a huge selection of Dim Sums (which are actually amazing!)
+ Really really well priced.
+ Portion sizes are good too - not small by any means. Would I recommend coming here?

The best Chinese Restaurant anywhere, ever. If you visit Birmingham you must eat here. The dim sum is Michelin quality and the service is fast and efficient. Main dishes are always tasty and portion sizes are generous. I have been visiting Chung Ying (and previously Chung Ying Gardens) for over 30 years, never had a disappointing meal or negative experience. A real gem in the centre of China Town, and a must try for Asian food enthusiasts.
