Lovely location and the garden rooms have views across the rear to the river Tyne. The room was warm and comfortable and breakfast was good quality and well cooked. The nearby village was an easy walk either along the road or the riverside and I would recommend a walk to the waterfall. Would stay again if in the area. The only negative was that the hotel suffered s power cut on our departure morning and there was no hot water. While I appreciate this was not the fault of the hotel I would expect an apology for our inconvenience.

We stayed here for two nights 9th-11th of November. We swam in the pool and dined in the restaurant both nights. Our room was spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will return.

What a nice, friendly hotel on the outskirts of Bellingham. The food is amazing and the bar is surprisingly well stocked. The very helpful staff make this place stand out from the rest. Well worth a visit.

Not 5* luxury but clean, comfortable and lovely setting. Very good restaurant for dinner and great breakfasts. Some staff young and inexperienced but any little glitch fixed quickly and with a smile overall though, really friendly and helpful staff happy to help. Recommended.

Honestly this place is amazing. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed in was fantastic too. We even spoke to the owner who was a lovely and friendly man. Well worth a visit and we are defnitley going back!
