I let a property managed by Marriotts, although the checking in procedure was easy they tried to scam me out of money for damages that were present before moving in, and pushed for professional cleaning fees when the property was not professionally cleaned before moving in. Even when I presented evidence of the damage being there before we moved in and noted it on the paperwork, they still pressured us to pay, and threatened bad references when moving to another property.
