Overall was a pleasant stay, staff were friendly and hotel is clean. However a few points I would like to highlight;
Construction work was taking place so it would get noisy and inconvenient at times. Breakfast choice was rather limited and quality could be improved. Parking is a major issue, luckily we didnt face any problem regarding this but it can cause anxiety once you leave the car park, you are not guaranteed a spot even after you have actually checked in and are actually staying at the property which I found extremely bizarre and frustrating. It makes you feel a bit unwelcome.

Booked an executive room at 100pn for 3 nights. Room definitely large enough but tired and needs the refurbishment which is in the process of happening. Always felt a bit gloomy inside irrespective of the time of day and had to have the lights on most of the time. Location is good and Bruntsfield itself is great for coffee shops, eateries and independent shops and the large park opposite.
Walked into the city centre most days and caught the no 16 bus back to the hotel. Would stay here again once the refurbishment is finished.
