Preventative Healthcare
Our preventative healthcare services include vaccinations, microchipping, flea and worm treatments, and dietary advice. Regular health checks help detect issues early, ensuring pets maintain optimal health. Our VIP Healthcare Plans make preventative care affordable through monthly payments covering essential treatments and check-ups.
Keyhole Surgery
We perform laparoscopic procedures for spays, cryptorchid surgeries, and organ biopsies. Keyhole surgery offers smaller incisions, faster recovery, and reduced pain compared to traditional methods. Our team pioneered this technique in South London veterinary practices, performing hundreds of successful procedures annually.
Health Checks
Comprehensive health assessments for pets of all ages, including kitten/puppy checks, weight management clinics, and geriatric evaluations. Our nose-to-tail examinations identify early signs of disease, with tailored advice on nutrition, exercise, and dental care to maintain long-term health.
Hospitalisation
Modern facilities for overnight pet care with separate wards for cats and dogs. Our skilled nurses provide 24/7 monitoring, medication administration, and comfort care. Isolation units prevent infection spread while ensuring continuous treatment for recovering patients requiring extended stays.

Helen Charteris is the best vet by far. Unfortunately she now only works here part time. Ownership changed hands recently, and the place has changed for the worse as a result. It's lost a lot of what was good about it, and is now no better than the big chains (e.g. Parkvets, Pets at Home, Jollyes). A few years ago the rating would've been 4 or even 5 stars.

Meads has been my vets for 30 years and the service is excellent. I usually see Helen as she has always known my cats very well. I would absolutely trust her with my girls anytime. The nurses are also very caring and supportive.

I had to have my elderly dog put to sleep and the vet couldn't have been more empathetic and comforting. I'm afraid my sobbing might have been audible in the waiting room judging by the startled looks..oops. We have used these vets for 20 years or more..great service and highly recommended.

Awful experiences here on 2 occasions, and good once. Took my feline Boogie after she developed sore patches on her skin. 1st male vet gave a steroid injection, said she had an allergy condition and that she'd need regular injections FOR LIFE; provided no advice on isolating root cause, even after my questioning. Took her back after it flared up a second time months later, this female vet was better. Told me she was likely allergic to flea bites and that I should use high-quality flea treatments throughout the year; no issues with her. Third time I took her because she was limping. Female vet diagnosed

The young lady who took care of our kittens was very friendly and helpful. She took the time to talk to us and answer our questions, even though they were busy. Very happy with the service!!!
