It all started when my parents bought me a camera aged 17 and from that day I was pretty much hooked. It was my hobby for quite a few years until I decided to go and do an HND in photography at Glasgow Building an Printing in 1995. I was in my element, I loved it. I even made my Dad convert a cupboard in my flat into a dark room (showing my age here).

I have been taking professional pictures of children for years for many different publications. I decided to branch into photographing children in their own environment to create natural and fun shots for families to cherish for years to come. I started with my own niece and nephew and now that I have two children of my own I know how fantastic it is when you get that shot that just sums them up.
