Great place for dinner..
Had a great time with the family. Staff very nice nothing was to much trouble .. Food excellent. Came out quickly and hot

Now this is a gem! Used to frequent the place nearly 50 years ago when I was 'nobbut a lad' - but had lunch on 22nd October 2021 to celebrate my Dad's 91st birthday. Great food. Good service - and VERY reasonably priced at 16 per person for 3 courses. Highly recommended! If this place doesn't get booked solid for lunch, it will be a crying shame!

Lovely four poster bed room with decent jet shower. Cooked breakfast was good for a little extra or cereal and toast was included in room price. Friendly and helpful staff.

We arranged an overnight accomodation (room 12) to get a night's sleep so as to be fully rested because as part of our holiday we are to walk 17 miles of the Cotswolds Way. Our supper was good, the staff friendly but on getting to bed, youths in the room below (room 2) from midnight on, played very loud music with not a shred of concern for anyone. At 2am I found a telephone number for the hotel - the main body of the hotel is locked separately from the bedrooms so you cannot get access to it - a chef answered and explained that room 2 is let by the hotel management on a permanent basis to tenants

What lovely home cooked food. Lamb casserole was excellent, fish and chips with proper chips also really good. Followed by pavlova baskets with berry's and cream. Extremely reasonable price and lovely atmosphere.

Value for money and amazing staff. Unfortunately I spilt a bowl of piping hot soup all over my lap which was surprisingly painful. However I can't really mark them down for that as it was entirely my own fault.
