Once a 16th century coaching inn, our stunning Grade II listed building is a warm and inviting place, boasting an extensive restaurant, impressive bar, a central decked courtyard and two private dining rooms.

Our bar boasts an expertly crafted list of classic cocktails, alongside rows of boutique spirits as well as a range of world beers on tap and in the fridges. Guest ales make an appearance with some local additions and we haven't forgotten about a few non-alcoholic concoctions too. At the bar we're mixing and muddling some of our favourite seasonal classic cocktails, using the finest spirits and freshest fruit.

Every Tuesday we are giving you 50% off our succulent steaks; don't miss out! Our steaks are cooked over 400 degree coals in our Josper charcoal oven and served with triple cooked chips, a smoked mushroom topped with tomato rarebit and watercress. We're only serving pizzas and a selection of sides from 7pm on Sundays but all our pizzas will be 2 for 1, making it the perfect Sunday evening catch up.

Once the stables for a 16th century coaching inn, The Stables is now a beautiful large space that is available to hire for private functions. Accessed from our courtyard, there is a raised private patio with outdoor seating. The space has an industrial feel but you can add those personal touches to make it suit your needs; whether that's a drinks reception, birthday, baby shower, market stall or a workshop.
