Upon arrival we were told that our table would be a few minutes and to have a drink at the bar, which we did and after 20 mins my husband went to check as we had our hungry 3 year old with us and had to leave within the hour to get back for a grocery delivery. We were taken to our table then, which was confusing because only approximately 60% of tables were in use so presumably we couldve taken one of those at the start. We were sat right next to the toilets, which without the mild frustration to this point wouldnt have been a problem but we noted. We ordered quickly thankfully and the food

Had a gorgeous family Christmas lunch with all the trimmings The complimentary glass of champagne was a nice touch. Cannot fault the service or the food. Made out Christmas a stress free and really enjoyable day.

Excellent meal. Great service. Lovely location with broth great decor and a wonderful green directly outside. The crumble and custard for dessert were heavenly, ruining the effort to only have the salad for main! Thanks for a great time. We walked so not sure parking situation but looked like there were plenty of options.

This is a great pub with a rustic atmosphere. The staff are excellent and the menu for lunch and dinner has been consistently very good over my past three visits. Pricing of food is ambitious in my opinion, and a selection of lower cost food options would be the improvement I would like to see. Well worth a visit none the less.

Lovely venue. Nice and cosy inside which gives you a real Christmas feel in the winter. Also has a courtyard which would be really nice in the summer. The service was poor, not fast enough and do not pay enough attention to the customers. The food was very disappointing, the roast dinner was average and the fist and chips was too greasy.
