Services
General Practice Consultations
Our experienced GPs provide comprehensive consultations for patients of all ages. We offer routine appointments with any available doctor, with options for double appointments for complex issues. Our care navigation system helps match patients to the most appropriate healthcare professional, including specialists in dermatology, mental health, and chronic disease management. All consultations adhere to NHS clinical standards.
Vaccinations
We deliver NHS routine vaccinations and seasonal flu jabs, including special clinics for children's immunisations and adult catch-up programmes. Our practice offers travel vaccines for cholera, polio, hepatitis A, and typhoid. For non-NHS vaccines, we provide referrals to specialist travel clinics while maintaining accurate immunisation records for all patients.
Prescription Management
Our electronic prescription service enables patients to nominate preferred pharmacies for medication collection. We process repeat prescriptions within two working days, with online ordering available through SystmOnline. Patients receive clear instructions for medication use, with regular reviews for long-term prescriptions. We also provide guidance on managing side effects and medication interactions.
Home Visits
We offer home visits for patients who are genuinely housebound or too ill to attend the surgery. Requests must be made before 10:30am for same-day consideration, with clinical need determining visit eligibility. Our GPs conduct thorough assessments in patients' homes, with appropriate equipment for basic examinations. We maintain strict safety protocols, including secured pets during visits.
Urgent Appointments
Daily slots are reserved for medically urgent cases, assessed by experienced nurse practitioners and GPs. Patients receive triage assessments to determine appropriate care pathways, with access to immediate prescriptions and specialist referrals when needed. Our urgent care team works closely with out-of-hours services to ensure continuity of care beyond regular practice hours.
