What a fantastic place! We had a very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable time. Excellent facilities and delicious, plentiful food. David and Angela really know how to look after their customers. The room was well equipped and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the huge bed. Great shower with very pleasant locally produced toiletries. A very peaceful countryside location but only a few minutes drive from local towns. Lots of easy, beautiful walks in the area. The views from the hotel are superb. Amazing sunsets looking up the Forth to the famous bridges. We will definitely be returning.

Really enjoyed our stay, qualities of a high end hotel yet very homely feel from it. Lovely personal touches throughout, from amazing food to a lovely lounge bar and beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Garelton is a lovely quite place for a break with breathtaking views over the east Lothian countryside. The owners David and Angela could not be nicer or more helpful and the food is absolutely delicious! Would 100% recommend for anyone looking to have a break in the area.
