The Glen Hotel offers nine uniquely designed guest rooms, including family suites, pet-friendly options, and a wheelchair-accessible ground-floor room. Six of our nine rooms welcome pets, with a 10 charge per dog per stay. Guests must notify us at booking and adhere to guidelines, including no pets on furniture and supervised access to nearby walking areas.

The Glen Hotel provides bridal suite access and event hosting for weddings. The four-poster room offers a luxurious setting for pre-wedding preparations and post-ceremony relaxation, with tailored hospitality services for couples and guests.

Accessible Rooms

Our ground-floor accessible room features a roll-in shower, mobility support rails, and twin/double configuration. The room overlooks the garden but is not pet-friendly, ensuring a quiet, safe environment for guests with mobility needs.

Residents only in bar, can't think why does not have a full on license,in a good catchment area,no other bars nearby, could be made into a nice little locals bar,but I am sure the owners know what they are doing.

A lovely place to lay your head after a long days walking, very nice polite and ever so helpful staff. The full Scottish breakfast is a must it was fabulous and served by the most wonderful of people you could ever wish to meet..

What a little gem this hotel is. I had to come to Selkirk for work and instead of the usual Premier Inn (generic and bland). I ended up in this lovely old listed building. The owners are lovely and cannot do enough for you to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. I've had an absolutely fantastic stay. And the food, OMG , the only negative point I could offer is the food is to good and I'm not looking forward to having to prepare my own meals again lol. The food is absolutely out of this !! All in all a 5 ,experience staying with a lovely family. I'm looking forward to my next work

Absolutely spot on as usual, have been before and cannot fault this hotel for cleanliness throughout, evening meal although not a real choice, what we had was really tasty, breakfast real good choice and plenty of it, have given 5 stars as they deserved it.

This is a beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. It has a feeling that you part of the family.
Rooms are spacious well kept and very clean. Breakfast was excellent and that staff were attentive asking if we needed anything to let them know. Would definitely recommend and would have no hesitation in staying again
