Fantastic cooking in a beautiful, warm and welcoming restaurant... a super room. And first class service... engaging, prompt friendly and helpful. This is a great Borders experience worth travelling for!

Wear a mask warnings are everywhere and there is hand sanitisation bottles on every table but forget all of that just bring your dogs into the lounge where people are eating. We were asked if we would like to move table. Doesn't really fix the problem of animals being around food.

Beautiful evening meal in the bistro. Welcoming atmosphere and lovely waitresses and waiters. They need to update their online menu as they had enchiladas as part of it but it wasn't an option when we arrived so had to order a starter and two side portions to make a meal as I didn't like the 1 vegetarian option given. Apart from that, it is a beautiful place with a cosy tavern feel, beautiful martinis, great portion sizes and good service.
