Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent room refreshments, good food and especially delicious porridge. Helpful with cycle storage (in restaurant over night)

Stopped for one night and the room was perfect, staff are lovely, great bar and a really nice breakfast. Would recommend to stop here

Only used the restaurant for dinner. Very surprised as only one there at first but others were arriving as I left. The food was excellent Garlic mushrooms were loveley and the scampi was plentifull almost too as I didn't have room for it all.
Resturant is at the back of the bar which is quite confusing and may have explained the lack of diner's shame as the food was good.

Lovely meal. l had the breaded haddock and I would highly recommended it. Friendly staff and good service. all prices are reasonable
