My family and I spent a fantastic weekend at the Mousetrap earlier in October. The house itself is just a short 5 minute walk from the seafront, along one of the beautiful old streets of Wells. The Mousetrap has everything you'll need for a holiday, whether you use it as a base to spend the day on the beach or as a cosy home-from-home where you can cook a meal for the family and then spend the night in front of the fire. The beds were very comfy and having two bathrooms was very useful when we came back from a day on the sand, intending to head out for dinner on a quick turnaround. The owners

Stayed here twice in the last couple of years, having previously visited wells over the past 40 years, so have some experience staying at properties. This is one of the best properties we have stayed in - location is great, right opposite the church and a simple walk to the quay; the property is a good size with good facilities; car parking spaces at the front of the accommodation save a huge headache in the busy summer months in Wells; the rooms are finished to a high standard and there is plenty of space - it's well set out for a family with grand parents (they can have some peace in a separate

What can you say about this perfect bolt hole from the world? It is a beautifully clean cottage & very close to all local amenities. The owner was so helpful when we were booking. Nothing was too much trouble. We went with our son, daughter in law & our beautiful granddaughter for 5 days. Everything you need is provided. It is really cosy in the evenings! The town itself is very quaint & charming. Highly recommend this lovely place.
