My entire stay was friendly and lovely - top-notch service in a beautiful Scottish rural town. The cooked breakfast in the morning is delicious and the room spotless and value for money. I was made to feel V welcome and appreciated X

Lovely food and fantastic service. 1st class service really nice people. We had 10 in today for lunch and everyone enjoyed their food. If your looking for good food at a good price and even better service this is the place to go

We called in while we were visiting Castle Douglas from Newcastle and the lady behind the bar was fantastic very friendly VERY welcoming and the food was unreal prices were very reasonable. There was 6 of us and we all enjoyed our food,deserts and drinks all plates and glasses were empty lol we would highly recommend a visit
