Our 17-room guest house provides clean, comfortable lodging with shared and en-suite options. All rooms include flat-screen TVs, tea/coffee facilities, and daily housekeeping. Located in a historic Victorian building, we combine traditional charm with modern amenities while maintaining affordable rates for both short and long stays.
Function Rooms
We offer two adaptable event venues with capacities up to 65 guests. Queensborough Hall features Victorian architecture and natural light, while The Club Room provides an intimate basement setting. Both include audio-visual equipment and flexible layouts, ideal for meetings, rehearsals, and social gatherings with optional bar service.
Club Bar
Balzambrs bar serves traditional Latvian beers, spirits, and wines in a cozy basement setting. We offer themed dinners on Saturdays and special event catering. The bar hosts cultural events and provides a unique space for private bookings, combining authentic Latvian hospitality with modern service standards.
London Latvian Centre
As home to the London Latvian Centre, we host cultural programs including language classes, folk dance groups, and choir rehearsals. Brilliantly located for Hyde park and access to tube. No frills rooms, WiFi, breakfast superb for the price. Shared bathroom clean and easily accessible, shower fine enough (hot water always; in an ideal world pressure would be better, but it's useable). Free luggage storage on check out day very useful and much appreciated, as was allowing me to take my towel to the lido for a swim. It's great value, unpretentious and easy - will be back!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay here. Perfect location and the rooms/facilities were great. No problem having to share a bathroom with other guests. Wonderful breakfast as well and such kind staff! The lady who helped us was lovely and showed us information about Latvia as well! Would recommend

Very clean, cozy and comfortable. I stayed here for an entire week and my adorable room overlooked the garden. Big hot breakfasts every morning. Extremely nice staff who were helpful with early check in. Right next to beautiful Hyde Park. Walking distance to tons of nice restaurants and to Paddington Station. Also very close to multiple underground stations making getting around London a breeze. And super affordable! This place is a hidden gem. WONDERFUL.

This place located in a very strategic location near Hyde Park and some tube station (Bayswater and Queensway). Have no lift, so make sure you are strong enough to carry your own luggage! Clean enough and have heater on every room. Breakfast is nice and would love to come back if I don't bring heavy luggage.

The place is nice. The room was small but for a weekend where you spend most of your day out it is no big deal. But the walls are thin. You hear everything from the TV to the chatter of your neightbours. The location is ideal, close to the central line subway that will get you anywhere.

Hi, I stayed at your house on the 9th and 10th of June 2018 and I had a brief chat with the lovely lady who was in the office as I checked out, so just repeating here that I am so glad I randomly booked to stay, you are all so warm and friendly and lovely! I hope the room cleaners found the small tip I left, I will definitely stay with you again
