Set in magnificent scenery, with a bar and two restaurants (one posh and pleasant, one plain and pleasant) this is an oasis in the Torridonian wilderness. Very expensive (the rooms, not the bar) mind you. Highly recommended. Definitely five star.

A lovely 4 day break. The hotel was very good, the staff were friendly and fun to be with Excellent short walks around the hotel. Then fine dining and relaxation in the whisky bar. Will return when allowed

Would give a 5* review, except we can hear the toilet flushing in room above(in room 28 in The Stables), as well as footsteps above us all night. Family possibly had a child or dog, and we were permanently awake from 4-7am. Raised the issue with staff, but nothing could be done. Despite this, I would 100% return. Staff were good, really friendly and accommodating, location is breathtaking, whisky bar is reasonably priced, and excellent selectioneverything about this place is quality, but we will only stay in main hotel, not the stables. They need better sound insulation in the ceiling - I dont

Fell short of expectations. Booked four nights in the Torridon Suite for our anniversary. Had two consecutive nights in the Bo & Muc and then two consecutive nights in 1887. In the restaurant, we had missing courses that other tables had, along with tables coming in considerably after us and being served before us. Not asking for special treatment, just the service you expect from a high end hotel and restaurant, along with the experience the other diners had. The poor treatment and the fact that we had to chase up on a response from our complaint, resulted in us cancelling our remaining nights

Visited the Bo and Muc Restaurant that is part of the hotel. The food was absolutely stunning: great quality and flavour. I had the burger and it was one of the best burgers I have had. The meat was succulent, juicy, flavoursome and well-cooked. Coupled with the Isle of Mull cheddar it was honestly braw.
