Excellent place to have a quiet eat and drink. Prices pretty good especially at the bar.Food excellent and all the staff were very friendly and excellent at their job.

Helpful staff severely let down by a manageress with an appalling attitude when reporting a shower problem. Small portion overpriced food. Otherwise clean and comfortable room

Food was fine but nothing special, we had burger and chips and a lager, bill was 39, far too expensive for this. Lovely view from terrace. When we arrived waiter asked if we were eating, on saying yes he said well you will have to hurry up and order as kitchen is closing soon - very off putting.

On it's way to being a good hotel. Feels like they were possibly mid-renovation when pandemic started. In its current state it is overpriced. The rooms are a bit of an unfinished mess. Mismatched doors, broken toilets, showers that flood the floor, TV aerial cables hung across the light fittings. The duvets were also so heavy it was hard to sleep, totally inappropriate for summer months. They have lots of staff but the staff don't appear to have had any training yet as service is very poor in places, especially the restaurant. In a venue like Malaig, you dont need to go to an overpriced hotel, especially for a lunch while waiting for the return Jackobite train!
Dont make the same mistake as us. The local cafes and takeaways are far better in terms of both quality and price. They forgot my daughters order, they forgot my drink and the staff just said oh sorry. While I dont completely blame them as they are young, they have to shoulder responsibility for the poor service. Calling management made no difference and frankly I begrudge having spent nearly 60 for lunch which, in hindsight was a complete

Very comfortable with attentive staff. Good food, including breakfast with very tasty haggis. Would recommend to anyone wanting a refreshing break.

The view is amazing. The staff were so helpful and accomodating. We arrived about 5mins before the kitchen closed due to some road construction. The food was great. I had the langostino and my husband had a steak. Both were good. I really loved the crab cheesecake though. I'd go back just for that!
