If you enter the town from the East from Connel, you will come down the hill, from which you get a lovely view of Oban bay. At the bottom of the hill you reach a roundabout. Get into the right lane and go towards the sea. You will come to a second roundabout, there go right along the sea front (there is no entry to the left because of the one way system
