Services
Arbury Road Vets have been caring for the pets of Cambridge for many years. We pride ourselves on providing a full and comprehensive veterinary service, with your pet's care being our primary purpose. We are here to ensure that you can obtain all the health needs for your pet. With over 35 years of experience we are able to make sure your pet gets first class health care at an affordable price.
Here at Arbury Road Vets, we're very proud to have so many enthusiastic and dedicated individuals working in our friendly practice. We are all passionate about animals and their well-being, from our veterinary surgeons and qualified nurses to our essential support staff. Highly trained and caring, each of us has a role to play in making this a special practice for you to visit with your pet.
Our team of highly dedicated and experienced veterinary surgeons and vet nurses are devoted to your pet's wellbeing. Your pets are always our priority. We all have our own pets and work hard to provide the same service to you that we would want for our own much-loved animals. At our surgery we provide continuity of care, working with you to provide effective and high quality treatment.
Many of our patients are receiving long term treatment and are eligible for 'repeat prescriptions'. Usually, we see these patients every six months, although for some conditions and often at the start of a new treatment, this may be more frequently. If your pet is due more of their usual medication, please contact us no less than 48-hours before you would like to collect this.
In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call our surgery on 01223 361 911 and you will be advised what to do next. If your call is during the night or at the weekend whilst our clinic is closed, please contact Vet24 on 0845 500 4247. Vet24 is our preferred emergency services partner.

I have been with Arbury Rd vets a very long time, really friendly staff, I recently had to have my cat Izzy pts,Rob Loxley the vet was amazing, he was so gentle and kind to Izzy as she went off to sleep, I wasn't rushed out the door, I was given time to spend with Izzy after her passing which I was grateful for, I highly recommend them.

A really great veterinary practice with staff that truly care about the health and well-being of your pets. They are all so genuine and helpful, the veterinary nurses are always happy to answer as many questions or concerns you have and there isn't anything that is to much trouble and the main vet is fantastic he is really knowledgeable and he really does have a passion for animals. What also makes this practice so much better than others around is that the it's a small local practice where the staff really get to know you and your animals needs and you get to build a good relationship up with
