Lida Vets was formed in 1991 by husband and wife Josh and Liz Lida. Initially, there were two rooms in what was then Greenwood Ellis and Partners at 166 High Street. In 1992 a little building next door became available and luckily, we were able to secure it. It was a quaint old building that saw at least two centuries of old Newmarket around it.

We offer 4 comfortable secure consulting rooms to examine your pets in a safe pleasant full equipped consulting room with added pheromones to reduce stress.

Lida Vets is accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) as a Tier 2 Veterinary Practice. To ensure a high standard of veterinary service, the RCVS runs a Practice Standard Scheme. This involves a rigorous inspection every 4 years and requires veterinary practices to meet high standards in many areas including hygiene, 24-hour emergency care, staff training and types of equipment.
