Nice cozy pub with low beams, comfy seating and a fire. Dog friendly. I enjoyed a delicious vegetarian halloumi and mushroom burger on a brioche bun. Also lovely parsnip soup.

A very cosy pub with a good selection of beer and wine and a reasonably varied menu. Food was good (the freshly prepared pie was worth waiting for) and the drinks were nice and refreshing. Staff were friendly and polite and service was prompt. All very enjoyable, thank you.

Having just walked Meldon Reservoir we were in need of some good food. Luckily, we stumbled across the New Inn and despite it being 2.30pm when they stop serving food, they kindly made us some great lunch. Excellent customer service in a superb location
