The house was originally established as a home in the 13th Century and has views over the Cotswolds countryside and River Severn. Hired on an Exclusive use basis for weddings and parties, Elmore Court includes a historic stately home and its grounds (some of which we are now rewilding), a soundproof rammed earth party venue, amazing food, fine wine, boundless music and a large slice of love.

History
Report
At Elmore Court there is a very rare and strong heritage which dates back to the 13th Century and even before. Anselm Guise, the present owner, has 750 years of continuous family ownership to keep alive. 2020 brings the next stage. A determination to continue and expand the work to make the estate sustainable and more than that actually positive for our environment.

Stay
Report
We love to think of ourselves as being ace for big parties but equally wonderful to simply spend some time at. We provide a fully staffed and amazingly comfortable place for wonderful gatherings of family and friends. It's also great if you'd like to treat yourself to a gorgeous massage and beauty treatment from our friends at 'Cotswold Spa', who offer restorative organic treatments within the comfort of Elmore Court.

The Guise family have lived on this spot since 1274(!) and it is still first and foremost the family home. Anselm Guise, the current owner, his wife Sarah and their team spent several years scheming to turn Elmore Court into what it is now.
The Court is a wonderfully eclectic mix of different architecture, from Elizabethan through to Victorian and almost all of the alterations over the years were done specifically to entertain, an intention we are faithfully continuing.
