
I feel proud of the heritage and tradition that Kalpna has built over the years, thanks to all those who have contributed over the past 40 years. Today Kalpna stands as one of Edinburgh's most prestigious institutions and a symbol of Traditional Indian Vegan and Vegetarian food. As a vegetarian myself, I am passionate about serving good quality Vegan and Vegetarian food in a very friendly environment and our attempt at Kalpna is just that.

Vegetables, baby potatoes & paneer coated in a spicy yogurt marinade and cooked in a tandoor. A vegetarian adaptation of the galouti kebab, the specialty of which is it's ability to completely melt in your mouth, and this kebab does just that! Popular roadside fare from India. Crispy pooris with potatoes, chickpeas and onion, topped with honey flavoured yogurt, tamarind-date sauce and green coriander chutney.
