Nice hotel stayed there for few weeks while working on a power station in Bridgwater staff were really friendly and very helpful rooms are really big nice and clean . They are a little dated but I can understand holding off on an expensive refurbishment in this present climate till the covid madness as run its course. Food was nice i enjoyed every meal I tried while staying there .
Ample size carpark free for guests reg plate log in required ,all in all I had a pleasant stay

Came here for a business meeting and stayed over the night before. Whilst not the fanciest of places the rooms are clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable but I didn't sleep well but don't let that influence you as I rarely sleep well. We had dinner and the food was superb - I couldn't fault it. The soup starter looked and tasted good. I had lamb rump which was cooked very nicely HOWEVER the creme brulee was amongst the best I've had. I met the chef, who was younger than I expected, and complimented them on great food. The staff were all very good. The only down marking? For some bizarre reason

I had the slow cooked belly of pork in the restaurant. It was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. An excellent composition with delicate flavours and great attention to detail with the meat. The service amplified the experience, with the staff being attentive and considerate throughout.

Very friendly receptionist both the evening I arrived and the morning I left.
Clean, spacious room and bathroom. Plenty of complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits! Room fairly traditional / dated - depending on your angle. Decent size car park
Clean bedding. Unfortunately I could slightly feel the springs in the mattress hence the lack of 5 stars
Overall would recommend

Nice clean room, comfortable bed. Super friendly staff. Sophie was delightful. The food in the restaurant is top notch. Locally sourced and delicious. Top that off with a great local ale! Perfection.
