The licensed 64-seat restaurant serves homemade dishes using ingredients from our shops. Menus feature deep-filled pies, ploughman's lunches, roast dinners, and seasonal vegetarian options. A daily cooked breakfast service uses our own sausages, while homemade cakes remain a popular highlight.
Woodland Trail
A half-hour trail through ancient woodland offers scenic views, hidden markers, and educational features like a bug hotel. The path allows visitors to engage with nature through den-building activities and wildlife observation in a preserved natural environment.
Women's Land Army Museum
Established in 1995, this museum preserves wartime farming experiences through interviews and artefacts. Located in the original grain store, it displays personal accounts from 'land girls' who maintained agricultural production during World War II, offering historical insights into rural contributions.

What are your opening hours?
The restaurant operates 9am-4pm Tuesday-Sunday. Farm shop and bakery are open 8am-3pm Tuesday-Saturday and 10am-1pm Sundays.
Where do you source your produce?
We source fruits and vegetables from Kent farms, with additional supplies from Covent Garden. Our bakery uses locally produced meats and dairy for daily baking.
Are there family activities available?
Yes, we offer a woodland trail, natural play area with equipment, and animal encounters featuring a donkey and Shetland ponies.

Cute cafe with lovely food with grounds you can walk around and animals. Free carpark. Can get a bit muddy - put on walking boots to walk from carpark to cafe

Lovely shop in the middle of the countryside. There's a shop, cafe and a museum...and my favourite a very loud donkey and horses. Great day out. There is parking and a bus route.

8 for some breakfast food on a plate. the most uninspiring food I've eaten in a very long time. Quality was acceptable. Portion was pathetic. For 8 it should be also at a minimum acceptable. Not coming back. Until new management.

Very nice lunch at a good price. The family had an all day breakfast, omelette and chips and cajun chicken burger. All very nice. It has a me u of light bites and a large specials board, so should cater for most needs. Bit out of Dover, but worth finding. Plenty of hand cleansing available and distance between tables.
