Very pretty country pub situated, between Ashford and Rye. Idyllic views to be seen in the day and at sunset. Lovely Sunday menu with very generous portions as well. Definitely revisiting in the future.

It's so nice to go to a pub that really offers both exceptional food and wonderful service. The guinea fowl was sublime and my partners home-made steak and ale pie was to die for. The sticky toffee pudding was so light yet full of flavour. The service from Sam and George who managed to look after a pretty packed pub (full on a Tuesday lunchtime speaks volumes) was excellent. Both friendly and efficient. I can't recommend the Ferry highly enough, and the only reason that there is no photographic evidence to accompany this review is because we scoffed the lot before we had time to think about it

Visited along side my family and we were completely satisfied with how great of an experience we all had. The food for a start was exceptional, the scallops and mussels went down a treat! And the sharing platter was more than enough between two people. The staff were so friendly and helpful, thats including the pub dog who is lovely. The atmosphere and decor was charming and casual, the location was really good. Close to many attractions such as a few vineyards which we had visited prior.

Cannot speak highly enough of The Ferry Inn today - lovely, attentive staff, nothing was too much trouble. And as for the adorable, immaculately behaved, chocolate Pub lab Poppy, who waited at (well, by) our table. Such a treat of an afternoon. So wish I had taken pix. Absolutely delicious fresh fare, perfectly cooked and enjoyed right next to the water. Shall certainly be returning sometime very soon. Thank you Ferry Inn, you did us proud.

Excellent! The burger inside a wrap was delicious and a twist on the usual thing you would expect. My wife had the seafood pasta which was great. The bread and cheese starter was really tasty. Great latte in high glass cups and brownie and ice cream. The service was also top notch, always checking on us without being too much, great tone and care. And in the sun the setting was lovely and with little wind on the outside tables.

Great food, really friendly staff and more pub dogs than you can shake a stick at. Food was way above your standard pub food! Also great veggie selections on the menu. Highly recommend.
