The George & Dragon is a pub & restaurant with accommodation in Rowde, Devizes. Traditionally a sixteenth century coaching inn, it combines modern day style with bundles of country character. Our aim is to offer that little bit extra for our guests. Our bedrooms have been refurbished with help from lovely Tina Foster of Mushroom London - lots of gorgeous, cozy spaces to snuggle in, new colour scheme and wallpaper, and loads and loads of cushions! All 3 rooms have large double beds, luxurious linen and duvets and modern comforts including flat screen TVs & DVD players.

Butcombe bitter and guest ales from around the country are beautifully cared for by our Master Cellarman ensuring each pint is the best it can be. Our concise wine list is selected from around the world, many of which are Organic and Bio Dynamic. We work very closely with our local wine merchants to update our list to complement the season & our menu.

Everything perfect, beautiful room & the most amazing breakfast we have ever had! Definitely. This place is a gem! Great place, fab room, super food & on top of that wonderful hospitality, makes you feel at home. Loved our stay and we'll definitely try and make it back again, really accommodating, especially with the baby.
