Had afternoon tea, was lovely. Couldn't eat it all so took it home for the hubby. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Only downside was the clotted cream had a sell by date of 17.11.2021 we went on the 20th. They came back to say the had been frozen so ok. I'm not dead yet. Would have thought it may be better to put the cream in a dish to avoid confusion.

Stayed here for 3 nights with work. Very comfortable room. Slept very well. Good sized room in the Darcy Suite. Well appointed room with everything you need. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. The food in the restaurant was well presented very tasty. The breakfast is also very good, buffet for some items, hot food is all cooked to order.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommended, I would stay here again.
