Our journey began when Mick and Jan relocated from Essex in 2002, bringing with them a wealth of hospitality experience from their previous hotel venture in Dunkeswell. I went there for funeral reception and there was a buffet style layout. The food had been prepared very well. The fish was probably the best baked fish I have had at a restaurant. Not overdone or undercooked, just right. Everything was done at the right time. The waitstaff were kind, friendly, and helpful.

While their food has always been great. I came to find out how they treat their employees from my neighbor. She was a long time waitress for Manor Inn (15+years) and when her husband became unemployed she got him a job in the kitchen. After her husband was treated badly she had said something about it to the owners at which time they let them both go. So my family and I, after decades of making manor inn a place for special occasions, will be boycotting the restaurant. I will not support any company that treats their employees in a negative manner and I hope you will not either. There are plenty

Catering is always amazing. I buy the "to go containers" and it is so worth it. They eggplant is stacked so high, and delicious, along with the penne ala vodka. I highly recommend it.

Attended a baby shower. Buffet was good. The wait staff was constantly around to fill drink orders, or replace food. Overall it was a very nice experience

We visit frequently. Nice atmosphere and good food with friendly service. We had a celebration with the buffet package. The food was excellent and service was absolutely phenomenal. Joe and John were so easy to work with and accommodating to our needs. We have always loved the Manor Inn but they surpassed our expectations even still. Whether you are looking for a drink or dinner at the bar, sit down dinner, catering, or a celebration facility, you will not be disappointed!
