Vernon Blackmore has been leading the way for Woodbridge restaurants for nearly 20 years and this summer he brings the Spice Bar to The Table in this beautiful Suffolk town. The Spice Bar will bring a wonderful contemporary feel to the dishes, with the addition of Spice Bar classics and, most importantly, a great team that is raring to go.

Dan Gorham, the Spice Bar's head chef, has put together a well balanced menu with wonderful tastes of South East Asian food.

At the heart of Woodbridge since the 16th century, our charming townhouse has been looking after diners for over 50 years. In 2012 Vernon Blackmore and the team opened The Table. Recommended in The Good Food Guide 2020, our reputation is as a lovely, informal eatery serving quality food with great flavours.

Spice Bar @ The Table's chef-owner Vernon and his head chefs believe that cooking, at its heart, should be creative and expressive of the seasons and the area. To help implement this, the menu changes daily as local, fresh, seasonal produce arrives. The quality of the ingredients allow us to showcase what we do in all our cooking, whether that be a curry from Malaysia, Indian BBQ ribs, or White Fish Katsu with a Japanese pickled salad.
