Authentic Italian Dining in Manningtree
Established in 2007, Lucca Enoteca was born from our deep appreciation for authentic Italian cuisine and the vibrant culinary traditions of Southern Italy. Inspired by countless memorable meals enjoyed in Naples and the surrounding regions, we set out to create a dining experience that captures the essence of an Italian enoteca combined with the warmth of a family trattoria. Our journey began with hands-on training alongside Enzo Coccia, the renowned Maestro of Pizza at La Notizia in Naples, whose expertise continues to shape our approach to wood-fired cooking. Every dish we serve reflects our commitment to quality ingredients, including fresh local produce and carefully sourced regional Italian specialties. Our team, comprising Italian chefs and those with an Italian spirit, shares an unwavering passion for delivering genuine Italian flavours. From our handmade Neapolitan-style pizzas to our curated all-Italian wine list, we strive to create an atmosphere where guests can savour the true spirit of Italian dining. Over the years, we have expanded our offerings to include group dining experiences, cookery classes, and takeaway options while maintaining the authenticity that defines us. Our dedication to excellence has earned recognition, including being featured in 'The Mail on Sunday's 100 best places to eat and drink outside in England' by Tom Parker Bowles. Whether you visit for a casual meal, a celebration, or to recreate our dishes at home, we remain committed to sharing our love for Italian cuisine with every guest.

Ordered for the first time today, and what a fantastic meal! Had a couple of "simple" meals (bruschette, pomodora) and was astounded by the flavours! The service was quick efficient and friendly throughout. Would highly recommend. Thanks for the phenomenal meal. 10/10.
