Went here a few months ago and looking forward to coming back. The food here was incredible, as was the staff who had such great food and drink knowledge. Nothing was too much trouble for them. When the weather is better you must sit out in their huge garden on the large tables.. you won't ever have such a peaceful pint outdoors. Will be back soon when next in holmfirth!

Superb location, very friendly staff across all sectors. Room was clean spacious and just what we needed. Lots of choice for breakfast, too. Would definitely recommend.

Food delivery was a little slow but they were busy, however we'll worth the wait! Food was great and enough of it, staff were very friendly and helpful.

Had the twixmas menu, we chose the cheese and onion pie. It had been sliced and then warmed in the oven. My son had the burger which he enjoyed. Would return not at Christmas as i think the food would be better. The pub itself was lovely inside and very welcoming. Would like to give higher than 3 stars when we return for the 2nd time.
