We are a family-run caf bistro located on Abbey Lane in Sheffield, established in September 2011. Our husband-and-wife team, Jules and Jo, combine decades of hospitality experience with NHS management expertise to deliver high-quality homemade food in a welcoming environment. Jules, with over 30 years in the restaurant trade, oversees both front-of-house service and kitchen operations, while Jo manages the business infrastructure. Our menus feature entirely homemade dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients from trusted Sheffield suppliers. We prioritise adaptability, accommodating dietary requirements and custom requests when ingredients permit.Our commitment to quality extends to homemade cakes, jams, ice cream, and even ketchup. We maintain strong partnerships with local producers like Liberty Farm Foods, Moss Valley Meats, and Abbeydale Brewery. Lovely cafe\bistro on Abbey Lane. A bit pricier than some other cafes we visit but the quality of the food probably reflects this. Homemade burger with chilli and cheese was absolutely delicious. The coffee was also excellent. Only seemed to be one guy doing all the work but he was very friendly, taking time to chat to our toddler.

Wow I think I've found one of new favourite cafes in Sheffield! Friendly welcoming staff and atmosphere.. And the food was excellent! I had pulled lamb with beetroot jam and goats cheese on a freshly baked ciabatta and I couldn't fault anything! The chips it came with were amazing and the slaw, so delicious! If you're a foodie then you MUST check this place out!

Best vegan breakfast I've had out & about. Been there twice now and both times blew me away. The vegan sausages are incredible, as is the wedge of hash brown/boxty. The oat latte is also devine!

Love it at Spoon. Great sandwiches, toasties etc. The tables are well placed. There is seating outside for 6 people. Good, friendly staff. They do Bistro evening as well, but they are something I haven't yet tried.
