Took my daughter in for a haircut. She loved every second of it - the staff chatted to her and made her feel very important and did a really beautiful haircut for the start of a new school year. It is also super reasonably priced for a kid's haircut.

Ive had my hair done twice here and both times it took +4hours to have a Brazilian blow dry despite the stylist saying that it would take up to 2hours. I had to cancel plans whilst sitting having my hair done because I wasnt going to be able to make it in time. Additionally, the Brazilian has done absolutely nothing for my hair, despite the big price tag. I wont be going there again under any circumstances! Poor experience all round.

I always look forward to visiting Shimi's for my haircut - Shimi herself is very hospitable (one of those people who's always friendly and interested in who she's speaking with) and the results are always excellent.

I don't think I've ever been treated this badly in my life! Be careful when buying Nanokeratin shampoos as they sell slightly cheaper than elsewhere (23), however their products are NOT GENUINE! I have used the shampoo before so I know what it looks - smells like and this was definitely not it. I took it back as soon as I found out and kindly asked for an exchange or refund. I was told that the refund was not an option and in fact I got shouted at by a manager and their receptionist that I am a liar in front of all their customers. I am literally still shaking. This saloon has no decency or manners

I have been a client of Shimis for about ten years. I started bringing my grandmother but quickly became a client myself and now, Shimi cuts my kids hair too. Ive also recommended Shimi and her salon to many friends, who have also become clients over the years. Shimi and all the staff are highly skilled, extremely knowledgeable and always make me feel welcome and very well looked after: everyone has my best interests at heart and I have followed their colour and style advice many times! Thanks for always giving me and the kids such attention and care. We all look forward to our next appointments

I have followed Shimi for nearly twenty years and have found her to be the most caring and professional hairdresser. Over the years she has guided me through various styles and colours. I have for the last few years had a Brazilian blow dry and as it takes a long time it so pleasant to sit in a comfortable salon and feel "looked after". I have incredibly sensitive skin and Shimi has always taken care to buy and use the best products. Five Stars every time Kay Rouse.
