We are an independent family run practice founded on the principles of taking the time needed to fully and properly care for eyes of all ages, from birth onwards.

Our Optometrists work on set days, if you wish to see a specific practitioner please select the relevant days. Weekend appointments are available with both Vanessa Krell & Elisabeth Devan, if you wish to be seen on the weekend please call the practice directly on 020 8445 3130. If you're a first time patient it's helpful if you can bring with you the following when you come in for the appointment.
Adult Eye Examinations
We offer some of the best and most comprehensive eye examinations available in London today. In addition to using gold standard techniques throughout the examination the appointments are spaciously booked to ensure you'll never feel rushed and we'll always have time to discuss any concerns you might have or any relevant treatment options.

Vision is one of the key senses for education and a primary sense in how we navigate the world. It's therefore easy to see how it is very important that a child is given the most optimal visual system possible to maximise their potential. Amazingly, most of a child's visual development happens by the time they're seven but visual problems in children often develop without symptoms and can start from a very young age.

When the way in which we perceive the world is impaired it can lead to various outcomes for different people. It is recognised that with specific learning differences, such as dyslexia, there is a higher prevalence rate of visual anomalies.
Colorimetry
Colorimetry at DF Optometrists is only performed using the gold standard Mk3 Colorimeter to ensure we treat with the utmost precision. The Mk3 colorimeter accurately controls the parameters of coloured light; the hue, saturation and brightness giving us unprecedented levels of control. The intuitive colorimeter is the only machine currently to have been shown effective in double-masked trials.
