MAPA offers a wide variety of classes throughout the week in many different types of dance and performing arts. Here is a brief breakdown of all the classes so you and your child can best choose what they would like to try. Although our classes are by grade, don't worry if your child has never danced before, they will be allocated into the best age appropriate grade for them.
Your first class with us is always free, so take a look then come along. Miss Vanda is a qualified Royal Academy of Dance Ballet Teacher. We offer ballet from Pre-Primary to Advanced. The children regularly take exams in the grades whereby an invigilator comes to the school and they are assessed. They then receive their certificates and grades at our prize giving events.

My very boyish boy loves to perform. We had tried several dancing schools in the area and often being the only boy, it made him feel out of place. From the moment we arrived at MAPA it had a different energy. He was welcomed into the family (and it really is a family) with strong but firm discipline.

Fees

We have a unique fee structure which allows us to keep costs low for our parents and at the same time encourages pupils to participate in more. Our Tuition Fees for Dance include Ballet, Modern, Tap, Limbering and ISTD Jazz classes. Limbering is compulsory at Grade 3 Ballet and ISTD Jazz classes are offered to Grade 4 Modern students and above.

Our Adult Ballet class is suitable for all levels of experience and is an inspiring way to improve your posture, flexibility, tone your muscles and gain the poise and elegance of a ballerina. Our classes are friendly and welcoming for people from all walks of life. Our Adult Tap classes are friendly and professional for all levels covering the basic steps to more complex sequences.

Here at MAPA we have friendly and dedicated staff who all have extensive experience throughout the industry. They strive to pass on their knowledge and passion for the performing arts onto the next generation. At MAPA we also have a Head Team each year, made up of some of the oldest senior students.
