Established in 1984, Makin' Steps Performing Arts offers a wide variety of classes in many aspects of performing arts, from beginners to advance level. Classes include hip hop/street dance, ballet, modern, tap, singing, musical theatre, melody bear and HIIT classes and are taught in one of our three fully facilitated studios at our Potter Street venue.

We believe in making our classes accessible for everyone and believe our fees offer great value for money while still offering an outstanding standard of facilities and highly experienced teaching staff. The Small Hall Studio - A 210 sqm Studio Including, Ballet Barres, dance flooring and amazing sound system. Used to house our extensive range of ballet, modern & tap classes. Our second largest studio has the perfect facilities for budding dancers to nurture their dance skills. Primarily used for our singing & musical theatre classes, this well-versed studio is perfectly set up to enhance your vocal and acting skills.
