Having uncomfortable hard skin and corns removed has made such a difference. I have no pain now, which is great. Andrew qualified as a podiatrist in 1989 and is the founder of City Chiropody. He started his first private practice in 1993 in Old Street and over a number of years he has set up a small number of satellite locations within physiotherapy clinics across London. His main interests apart from general Chiropody are verrucae and ingrowing toenails on both adults and children.

Toenails can become damaged through sporting activities, or by cutting them badly or even picking them. Damaged thickened nails (onychogryphosis) can be treated by thinning down the nail painlessly. Although this might not cure the problem this makes the nail look much better for long periods. The nails may have been damaged by a specific incident like dropping something on them or having an injury during a sport like football of even cricket!.
