Our office is closed over the weekends and orders need to be placed Mondays to Fridays by 12 noon for next day delivery. Cake Collections from 2pm to 4pm at: Unit 9.2 The Hyde, Auckland Drive, Brighton BN2 4JE, (opposite Fun Plex) Social distancing will be practiced so please give us a call when you are outside and we will bring your products to you.

Coburn and Baker are a thriving Artisan Bakery established in Brighton in 2000. Dedicated to wholesale, we work behind the scenes supplying hand crafted sourdough and artisan breads, fine patisserie and unique cakes and tarts every morning to discerning hotels, restaurants, gourmet shops, cafes and caterers throughout Sussex and beyond.

At Coburn and Baker we celebrate the creativity and high standards of workmanship held by our exceptional Bakers, Cake Makers and Patisserie Chefs. Our bakery is staffed and bustling 24 hours a day. Cakes are baking and patisserie prepping during the daylight hours and long fermented breads slowly rising and proving during the night.

CELERY, EGGS, WHEAT FLOUR, MILK, NUTS, SESAME and SOY are used frequently on site. Due to our Artisan working environment there may be traces of these allergens in all our products. This means our products unfortunately are not suitable for those with serious food allergies. We can supply individual allergen information for all our products to every customer.
What we Bake

Our talented team of bakers handcraft all our contemporary and traditional breads every night allowing us to deliver fresh Artisan breads seven days a week. We allow a slower fermentation in our baking and give our dough time to prove, always using quality ingredients and maintaining artisanal standards in all our breads.
Sourdough

At Coburn and Baker we maintain artisanal standards in all our baking. Our breads are handcrafted with skill and patience and we allow a slower fermentation, giving our dough more time to prove. Our Sourdough bread is made with our own sour starter, giving a moist and strong crumb, a beautiful rich, dark crust and the unique Sourdough taste and aroma.

Hand rolled with carefully prepared strips of vegetables, rich in colour and texture with red cabbage and fresh ginger. With a distinctive home made appeal. South American inspired vegan pastry with black turtle beans, sweet potatoes, walnuts smoked paprika and fresh herbs in a soft pastry. Our meat-free 'so-sage rolls' are made with puff pastry and filled with mushrooms, celery, nuts, onions, chickpeas and fresh herbs.
