We are a proudly simple, family-run, eco-friendly bed & breakfast hotel in the heart of London. The St Athans Hotel is also open and, counter-intuitively, there has never been a better time to visit London, as the hordes of tourists from around the world are still yet to return, so it's pretty pleasant to visit this summer, where there will be some space and time to visit all the best attractions at your leisure.
Museums, cafe, restaurants, bars, theatres, shops, gigs and all those things that makes London one of the most exciting cities on earth are once more open. The hotel is still transitioning from having been completely closed to being our normal 24hour self, so please expect some changes. For example our lovely Bloomsbury Coffee House in the basement is currently closed, and looks like it will stay that way until at least Spring 2022.

The Geyer family, through 3 generations, has been running the St Athans Hotel for over 50 years. We recognise the demand for clean, simple and inexpensive accommodation while still caring for the environment, and aim to fulfill these criteria while adding down-to-earth friendliness and a bit of character into the mix.

We understand that visiting London can be very expensive, so we have done a few little things to help our guests. And of course all of our guests are entitled to a 10% discount at the wonderful Bloomsbury Coffee House.

We know that it's difficult to find pet friendly, budget hotel in central London, so we're very happy to fill that niche. We accept any type of pet, as long as they're well behaved, and don't make any noise that might upset other guests. When you check-in you'll be asked to let our reception know when it'll be ok to service the room.
