On the farm itself, we breed our own Lambs. In 2017 we decided that we needed our own herd of Pedigree Aberdeen Angus. We started out with a small herd of 9 cows and one Bull. However over the last couple of years we have now increased this to 23 cows and plenty of calves running around in the fields.
Autumn 2019 we are hoping to add more to the herd. We also have the ever popular Dexter beef and North Devon Beef which we buy locally as young stock and have grazing on our pasture here. We have 150 acres of available grazing being among the finest in the Welland Valley, if not England! The excellent Lamb and Beef product from animals raised here is then later sold to customers in the Farm Shop.

The Langton Brewery, produce traditional beer using only the finest ingredients to give the discerning drinker a selection of well-balanced and distinctive beers. Welland Valley Vineyard is one of the East Midlands best-kept secrets. The 2.5-acre vineyard and cider orchard was established by David and Jane Bates in 1991 on a south facing slope two miles south west of Market Harborough.

Our eggs are sourced exclusively from our own 200-bird flock of free range hens. The breed of hen we keep at Ashley Farm is the Warren, giving us a plentiful supply of lovely brown eggs. As you will see our chickens enjoy the whole farm. You are more than likely to be met by a welcoming committee of friendly chickens when you arrive!

You will always find a range of quality seasonal produce in the farm. Varieties and types depend on availability, but we always ensure we have seasonal favourites such as asparagus, in May to the end of June. For the convenience of our customers, we stock a range of cook's essentials, sourcing from local British growers wherever possible.
Homemade Ready Meals, Pies & Freezer Food

A huge range of ready meals and pies are produced, by the hugely talented team at Ashley. Where possible we use from the meat produced on our farm with the freshest vegetables and herbs. We make our own fresh stocks and sauces the traditional way, they are produced with passion and the finest attention to detail to create a ready meal which has that true home-cooked flavour.
