Woodcock Farm
Report
The peaceful 36 acres sits on an Iron Age hill fort with links to both the Roman and Anglo-Saxon periods. Atop a west facing escarpment, it comprises a large central meadow, circled by two ring mounds, with the small woodland to the southern edge - perfect for those who enjoy scenic walks, and being immersed in nature.

Report
The opportunity to buy Woodcock Farm in 2017 was a dream come true and seeing it all coming together has been fantastically rewarding. Our vision is to create a relaxed and friendly holiday environment with really comfortable facilities surrounded by and connected to the outdoors. Maintaining the wonderful hill fort and running the farm are integral to the experience, as we see it, and we aim to do so in as environmentally friendly way possible.
On the farm
Report
Woodcock Farm comprises 36 acres of grazing, meadows and woodland - we have sheep and pigs and raise our own lamb and pork, as well as lots poultry for free-range eggs. You are, of course, welcome to walk the footpaths around the fort and the Cotswold Way, which crosses right over the land. From Woodcock Farm, you can follow this or some of the other footpaths all the way to Bath or up well into the Cotswolds to its start at Chipping Campden.
Tasty extras

These include our own eggs, bacon and sausages. We add delicious artisan bread from Hobbs House Bakery (our neighbours own this lovely business) as well as butter, local honey or jam, yoghurts, fruit juices and fresh fruit. Let us know when you book. If you are staying for a few nights, we're sure you'll want to check out our local pubs and restaurants.
